Labor & Employment Law Compliance Counseling
Advises and counsels regarding labor & employment laws (Title VII, ADA, ADAAA, ADEA, PDA, IHRA, FMLA, WC, USERRA, FCRA, WARN, NLRA) and human resources-related topics including discrimination, harassment & anti-retaliation, disability reasonable accommodations, leaves of absence, hiring, discipline, promotion, reductions in force (RIFs), separations, severance, non-competes, trade secrets, wage & hour, social media, privacy, workplace violence, and other terms and conditions of employment.
Oversees the investigation of administrative charges and/or complaints filed with the Department of Labor, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Illinois/local discrimination agencies, as well as the preparation of employer responses, including position statements, agency fact-finding conferences, mediations, conciliations, and agency audits.
